When it comes to telling you about what a great place Rightmove is, we believe our people are the best guides. So, we have asked some of our people from our different business areas to talk about life at Rightmove and what they get up to, all in their own words:
I have worked at Rightmove for 7 years. When I first arrived I remember being impressed by the buzz in the office and after being put through a challenging first-round interview I was even more determined to come and work here!
I work as a Project Lead and Business Analyst in one of our development teams. It’s great to work with a team of bright, driven people and there are always a variety of projects to work on which give you exposure to different parts of the business. You are given the opportunity to show initiative and the responsibility to see the project through from start to finish which I think is really important.
I work in our London office in the heart of Soho. Our technology and marketing teams are based here; we have an open plan office which encourages lots of communication and collaboration between teams.
I have worked at Rightmove for just over 3 years now based in our Milton Keynes office and I love working here. When I first heard about the role I was very excited as I love everything about properties and was using the website to find my own property at the time. The office we work in is amazing, as well as being filled with fun, friendly people we also work right next to a lovely lake that we can walk around on our lunches. The office has a big lunch area where everyone can sit and talk to each other and we also have a TV with Kinect to play with our colleagues. We also get fresh fruit delivered to the office.
I work in the Central Customer Services Team, we are a really friendly bunch of people and often go out on team nights out with each other for meals and bowling. Rightmove is a great company to work for!’
